Carside To-Go Specialist - Part-time

pstrongPOSITION SUMMARY: /strongCustomer Service orientated position primarily responsible for delivering superior food and beverage service to To-Go order guests according to Potomac Family Dining Group and Applebeersquo;s brand standards for timeliness, accuracy, and guest service./ph3ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:/h3ulliTake to-go orders via the phone, mobile app or online/liliDelivers food and drinks to guestrsquo;s car using Applebeersquo;s Carside Service/liliGreets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and drink selection per the Carside script./liliInteracts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat/liliRelays orders to service bar and kitchen via point-of-sale computerized register/liliObserves guests and responds to additional/liliAnticipates guest needs/liliPresents guest check to each car and accepts payment; makes correct change and/or completes proper charge card/liliCompletes all plate presentations per the to-go recipes/plate presentation/liliPass a final quality check on the food for plate presentation, temperature and garnish and notes and special modifications or protein temperatures on the/liliParticipates in the cleaning, clearing, stocking, organizing and resetting of Carside/To-Go/liliCompletes other side work as/liliMay occasionally be scheduled to serve guests in a Host/Hostess or Server/liliAssists in general Front of House maintenance functions including:ullimaintaining restrooms/lililight cleaning such as dusting light fixtures/furniture/woodwork/artifacts/liliwashing and/or wiping windows/lilisani-bucket rotation/lilisetting up the expo line/liliemptying trash/lilirolling silverware/lilimaintaining restaurant curb appeal/li/ul/li/ulh3EQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS:/h3ullipoint-of-sale computerized register system/liliPhone/liliSoda fountain operation/liliOperation of cleaning tools such as cleaning cloths, buckets, brooms, vacuums, non-electric vacuum sweepers/li/ulpnbsp;/ph3SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None./h3pnbsp;/ppstrongMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:/strong/pulliFriendly and engaging demeanor/lili18+ years old/liliPrior restaurant service experience preferred/liliReading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required/liliBi-lingual experience a plus/liliReliable transportation required/liliHigh School Degree or GED preferred/liliAbility to build relationships/liliAbility to be a team player/liliAbility to follow manager instructions and guidance/liliAbility to communicate and behave professionally at all times/li/ulpnbsp;/ph3PHYSICAL DEMANDS:/h3ulliAbility to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off of the floor, and wipe down booth seats in the bar area of the/liliMobility required during the entire/liliTransports plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the service bar and kitchen more than 30 times per/liliAbility to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in/liliMust have a good sense of balance, be able to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel and frequently lift as much as 50 pounds./liliTransport to-go bags and beverages to car up to 15 pounds up to 30 times per/liliMust be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other/li/ulpnbsp;/ppstrongTravel: /strongLess than 5%/ppnbsp;/ppstrongWORKING CONDITIONS: /strongSubject to wet floors and loud noises, outdoor conditions, fast-paced./ppnbsp;/ppReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./p
