Full-Time Urologist Opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of urologic conditions, including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, and urinary tract infections.
• Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms, including preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up care.
• Provide hospital and emergency consultations, collaborating with other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Work closely with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner in a team-based practice.
• Participate in a light call schedule, covering the site roughly 7 days per month.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation following hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
• Note: Not open to candidates commuting over 1 hour, new graduates, or those requiring visa sponsorship.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
• Clean malpractice history.
• Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.
• Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained before starting).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Urology.
