American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 26-week assignment in Asheville, NC at a Level II trauma center and regional children's hospital.
Details- Radiology MRI department within a large 815-bed acute care hospital that serves as the region's only Level II trauma center and houses the only children's hospital in western North Carolina
- GE MRI equipment is used on this unit
- Cerner EMR
- Procedures include contrast and non-contrast MRI studies
- Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Rotating weekends required
- 9-person staff team on the unit
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT (MRI) certification required
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two references required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- Breast MRI experience is preferred
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
