Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury)

Position: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Financial District, Manhattan- Fully in-office Monday- Friday

Job Description:
Major personal injury law firm in Manhattan’s Financial District is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and will be responsible for supporting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and motions
• Manage case files from inception through trial
• Conduct legal research and summarize medical records and deposition transcripts
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, IMEs, hearings, and court appearances
• Maintain and organize case calendars and deadlines
• Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
• Prepare trial binders and assist with trial preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on personal injury
• Familiarity with New York court procedures and e-filing systems (NYSCEF, PACER)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
