Now Hiring: Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities include performing advanced preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing food industry machinery, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently after servicing. This role requires strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, hydraulics, electrical components, and welding, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate will also assist in training junior mechanics and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Shift: Inquire about shift availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Performs advanced preventative maintenance tasks.
-Upon completing a task, ensure the equipment can run efficiently.
-Have satisfactorily completed level III mechanic requirements and test (80%).
-Be able to interpret and work off blueprints, electrical schematics, and hydraulic schematics.
-Understand motors controls: sensors, switches, and other electrical components.
-Required to train lower-level mechanics.
-Troubleshoot and repair any food industry machinery and equipment.
-Need to have knowledge in fabrication and advanced skills in welding.
-Must possess advanced skills in all areas of mechanics.
-Assist other mechanics in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
-Maintain shop, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
-Must possess advanced skills working with belts, chains pulleys, gear boxes, hydraulics, and electrical components
-Able to read and understand repair manuals.

Job Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
-3 years of Food Manufacturer Maintenance Technician experience
-Must be able to use handheld devices; tablets, scanner, smartphone
-Must have experience in pro sealer machine, and bagger machine.
-Must be able to work in a cold and wet environment.
