• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Callback Rate: Approx. 5 admissions per night on call COVERAGE DATES
• Starting December 5, 2025
• Ongoing assignment, long-term preferred

• Patient Volume/Census: 1215 patients per day (mix of new and follow-up visits)

• Specialty Backup Available: APP team for inpatient coverage
• Support Staff Available: Inpatient APP during normal hours
• Reason for Coverage: Turnover vacancy (replacing departing provider)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active MD license or IMLC accepted
• Board: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Minimum 3 years post-training
• Other Qualifications: EPIC experience required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage 4 days/week (MonThurs)
• Manage inpatient consults and follow-up oncology patients
• Take one weekday call per week and 24-hour weekend call every 4th weekend
• Round on admitted patients and coordinate with APP support
• Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care team
