Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Floyd, VA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an on-site contract position throughout the school year. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students K-12.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals across settings.
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP planning.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically within school settings.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 educational practices and IDEA regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Floyd, VA for the duration of the contract.
