Position Description:
- · The Salesforce Developer develops, configures, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software, enhancements to existing proprietary software or purchased software packages.
- · Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations
- · Follows Salesforce.com’s best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions.
- · Possess strong communications skills.
- · Able to work on multiple concurrent projects.
- · Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning.
- · Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.
- · Shall adhere to OCIO work rules.
- · Communicates and collaborates with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
- · Researches and keep current on force.com technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective
Skills:
- · The ability to develop and support applications using Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community, Visual Force, Chatter and the Force.com platform.
- · Conceptualizes, prepares and creates detailed technical specifications from which complex programs will be written or configured
- · Develops solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud and Visual Force. Complies with all required Company policies and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- · Develops custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages Writes, tests, analyzes, and implements high quality code according to specifications
- · Understands and leverage the Salesforce provided APIs and components of Salesforce AppExchange for developing custom objects
- · Creates reports and dashboards using Salesforce to meet the reporting and analytical requirements of the business users
- · Provides Tier II Support for Salesforce applications and manage service tickets needing escalation to Salesforce
- · Supports Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals
