Radiology (X-Ray) Technologist-PRN-Varies

The radiologic (X-ray) technologist works under general supervision in performing a variety of diagnostic exams and procedures, according to departmental protocol, as requested by the physician order. Positions the patient, and sets protocol factors with a high degree of competency on the imaging system. Maintains established organizational and department policies, procedures, objectives. Provides care of the highest quality while following mandated safety practices.    

Certificate Radiology.  Accredited Program Radiology.  Current BLS.  Certified/licensed in good standing with appropriate professional registry.  Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program, and be a Registered Technologist -R.T.(R).  Ability to work independently and self directed. Self motivated.  Must be able to utilize independent decision making skills in a wide variety of situations.  Critical thinking and advanced problem solving skills.  Demonstrates the ability to effectively utilize imaging-specific and generic computer software programs.

Preferred:  1+ years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist.    First and second shift hours; weekdays and weekends.
