What you need:
- Quality Inspections: Conduct in-person and virtual quality control checks for all new HVAC system installations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Warranty & Recall Support: Diagnose and resolve warranty issues and callback concerns related to system performance, installation, or customer satisfaction. Document findings and communicate corrective actions to the HVAC Service Manager and HVAC Install Manager.
- Field Support: Assist HVAC Department in the morning and in the field by reviewing install scopes, ensuring materials are prepped, departure readiness, giving hands-on labor, technical guidance, part runs, and support with layout, measurements, or system configuration.
- Customer Service: Engage directly with customers during post-install visits or concerns, addressing complaints, educating on system operation, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Airflow Verification: Perform air balancing or verify proper airflow following duct replacements or
- major system installs.
- Virtual QC Prep: Review install schedules daily and perform virtual inspections and validations to ensure jobs are ready and meet expectations.
- HVAC Coordination Support: Assist crews in the morning by reviewing install scopes, ensuring materials are prepped and validating departure readiness. Assist with returned or unused materials or the warehouse. Ensure proper documentation is submitted for all warranty items.
- Sales-to-Field Verification: Meet crews at the start of large-scale jobs (ie. duct or system replacements) to verify install needs match sales estimates.
- Regulatory Authority & Vendor Communication: Build strong relationships with manufacturer reps and local inspectors while maintaining a working knowledge of equipment specifications. Stay informed on changes, defect trends, and ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Peer Coaching: Serve as a role model and subject matter expert for less experienced installers. Offer daily tips, guidance, and feedback to your assigned peer group to support technical growth and process adherence.
- Weekend Coverage: Participate in rotating weekend schedule to support crews and ensure quality service continuity as needed.
