A facility in Fort Morgan, CO is seeking a Locum Tenens OB/GYN physician to provide crucial obstetric coverage. This position offers a 24-hour call schedule with opportunities to work 10-15 shifts per month, meeting the needs of a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, and adolescents. Start providing care as soon as June 2026, with ongoing dates set to be released from August 2026.

Job Responsibilities- Provide general OB/GYN services, including managing deliveries and applicable procedures- Ensure timely and effective patient care during on-call hours- Collaborate with the support staff and maintain efficient communication with general surgery and minimal urology backup
Qualifications- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (0-5 years post-residency)- Active CO license or IMLC, with LOQ in hand at submission- Active BLS certification highly preferred, must be obtained during credentialing- Active DEA certification highly preferred, required for credentialing- Completed EMR training and understanding of requirements- Clean medical and professional background, with a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
Working Hours- Call shifts are 24 hours, covering from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, including weekends
Skills- Proficient with EMR systems, particularly Epic- Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare team- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment- Committed to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professionalism
