• Position: Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
• Location: Albany, Georgia 31701
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Labor Pool (Med/Surg)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (start at 6:45 PM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680-$1800
• Contract Duration: 17 weeks (November 3, 2025 – March 2, 2026)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotates with permanent staff
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech 6.1

Med/Surg RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience with at least 1 previous travel nurse assignment, OR 4 years of Med/Surg experience without travel
• Required Certifications: BLS, ASLS or NIHSS
• Ability to float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other Med/Surg units
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Flexibility with changing assignments during shifts
• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to diverse Med/Surg patient populations
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including CNAs, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy staff
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and deliver patient education
• Float to related clinical units as needed and adapt to changing assignments
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage
