The specialty for this role is Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nursing with an emphasis on Cardiac Monitoring. Key points: Experience in Med-Surg with cardiac monitoring is required. Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric. RN-to-patient ratio: 5:1, with higher-acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1. Rural/small-facility experience preferred. Travelers must be able to work independently. Holiday coverage is mandatory for two of the major holidays listed. In short: Med-Surg/Telemetry (PCU focus) Nursing — Cardiac Monitoring.
