Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A reputable K-12 school in Park Rapids, MN, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support student needs throughout the uping school year under a contract arrangement.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting preferred
- Strong munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, therapists, and families
- Ability to implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs in pliance with school and state guidelines
Location:
- Park Rapids, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assistance services to students K-12 as directed by an occupational therapist
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress and classroom integration
- Document student progress and maintain records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation
