Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Shelbyville, KY

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized nursing opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. This position involves working in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab environment delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care in the cath lab with a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures, collaborating in a multidisciplinary team, and effectively using McKesson Cardiology and Cerner systems. The RN will float to cover the Electrophysiology Lab and adhere to detailed protocols and safety standards. You will participate in call rotations covering weekday evenings and weekends, supporting continuous patient care.

Key qualifications desired:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Proficiency with McKesson Healthcare Change and Cerner EMR systems
• Current ACLS, BLS certifications and valid Kentucky nursing license
• Experience with structural heart cases, scrubbing, or patient monitoring preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills with precise and clear munication
• Detail-oriented approach with ability to function in a multidisciplinary team

Schedule highlights:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Approximately 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• 1-2 weekend call duties every six weeks, with holiday blackout dates toward the end of the year
