Anesthesiology Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: November 2025
• End Date: At least 6 months, possibly longer
• Schedule: 14 days on (with beeper call), 14 days off, rotating with 1 other MD
  • Consideration for 7 days on/7 days off
• Shift Times: 7 AM - 5 PM regular shift with call from 5 PM - 7 AM

Clinical Details

• Types of Cases: Bread and butter cases, GI, Cardioversions, Orthopedics, Gynecology
  • No Pediatrics, no Obstetrics, no high acuity, no ICU levels of care
• Number of ORs: 4
• Surgical Volume: Average of 600 cases per year
• Support Staff: MD will always be with a CRNA
• Staff Model: Mainly supervisory but could work own cases if needed
• EMR Systems: Cerner, AIMS

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible
• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
