Job Title: OB/GYN Physician
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Hobart, IN
Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
Schedule: Monday Friday, with 1:5 call rotation
On-Call Expectations: 1 in 5 rotation
Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing (approximately 90120 days post-offer) PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
Patient Demographics: Adult women, prenatal through post-menopausal
Average Daily Volume / Census: Varies based on clinic and hospital schedule
Admissions & Rounding: Included
Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Full-spectrum Obstetrics and Gynecology, including deliveries, gynecologic surgery, and preventative women's health services FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
Beds in Department/Unit: Integrated within a full-service hospital environment
EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup: 24/7 Anesthesia, NICU, and Surgical Support
Support Staff: Nurse practitioners in both inpatient and outpatient settings; clinical and administrative support available
Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to the Medical Director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Reason for Opening: Growth and service expansion within the Community Healthcare System CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
Board

Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

DEA & Certifications: Active DEA; BLS and ACLS required
Credentialing Timeline: 90120 days COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS
Base Salary: Highly competitive; negotiable within MGMA guidelines
