Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Hiawatha, KS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting students across all grade levels in a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing SLP services in school environments
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Effective collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation compliant with school policies
- Communicate effectively with school staff and families to support student success
