Desktop Support Technician 

Pay Rate:  $21.00/HR W2 (Increase to $25/hour once hired permanently)

Hours:  Full time, M-F, 8am-4:30pm 

Location:  Norwich, NY 13815

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Description:

• Repair, test, image and clean PC's, laptop, monitors, printers, and other related hardware
• Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals
• Large IMAC events expected for client printer migration and PC refreshes
• Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention
• Comfortable with face-to-face interactions as will be required to provide technical support to end users in-person at the customer's site
• Back up and burn end user data Assist other coworkers in resolution of end users' technical issues across the program

Skills:

• Candidates must behave 6+ months of corporate IT experience
• Experience with asset management.
• INSTALL, ADD, MOVE, and CHANGE
• Experience with PC hardware/software support
• Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Be physically able to lift up to 40lbs, bend, crawl, and lay in order to support customer computer systems
• Be able to be on feet and physically walk potentially a good portion of the day while visiting customers work area
