About The Position

Interventional Radiology Locums Physician, Kentucky - No Weekday Call

Weekend-only IR coverage in Kentucky with no weekday call and fast credentialing turnaround.

Highlights

• Friday 5p to Monday 8a; no weekday coverage
• Solo-provider model with APP support
• Onsite hotel with meals included

Practice Setting

• Outpatient-based IR suite
• 1-2 APPs available for support
• Typically 4-8 IR cases per day per physician

Schedule

• Weekends only; pick up blocks as available
• No weekday clinic or call responsibilities
• Ongoing need throughout the year

Cases and Procedures

• Core: drain placements, biopsies, steroid injections
• Required: angio for GI bleeds, embolizations, CT/US-guided biopsies, mediports, HD caths
• Optional: ablations, neph/gallbladder tubes, tunneled lines

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Kentucky license or Open to IMLC Physicians
• DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
• Hospital-owned lodging with meals and snacks included
