Position Details

- Patient Census: Avg. 12 | 18 Beds
- Ratios: 1:2
- Float: May float to Postpartum if needed
- Charting System: Epic (preferred)
- Dress Code: Professional hospital scrubs (Navy)
Requirements
- License: Active NY RN License
- Education: BSN required (or in active BSN program)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
- Magnesium Sulfate experience required (must appear on resume)
- 1 year of travel experience preferred
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NRP
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based care to Labor & Delivery patients.
- Manage patients requiring magnesium sulfate and high-risk labor care.
- Collaborate with OB physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate and support mothers and families through labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Float to postpartum as required to support patient flow.
Schedule Notes
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every Other Weekend required
- Must be able to work holidays as scheduled
License: Active NY RN License Education: BSN required (or in active BSN program) Experience:Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience Magnesium Sulfate experience required (must appear on resume) 1 year of travel experience preferred Certifications:BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NRP (YB)
