We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 17, 2025. This opportunity offers flexible day shifts, Monday through Friday, providing primary care to patients of all ages and managing a variety of cases, including pain management. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
- Manage an average caseload of 14-18 patients per day
- Address a mix of primary care and pain management cases (no x-waiver required but experience with pain management preferred)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
Additional Information
- Must have an active California state license
- DEA certification required
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
- Minimum of 2 years of primary care experience
- Experience with all age groups and pain management cases preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency is expected
