Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work in Nuclear Medicine department on 2nd floor of hospital
• Rotate between hospital (2 staff) and clinic (2 staff) locations during day shift
• Rotating on-call responsibilities during weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Work with 5-person nuclear department team
• Operate GE Discovery/Xeleris and Case Machine equipment in hospital
• Operate GE Ventri/Xeleris and Case Machine equipment in clinic
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform SPECT stress tests (Lexiscan, Dobutamine, and treadmill)
• Conduct bone scans, HIDA scans (with/without CCK), lung perfusion studies
• Perform amyloid scans, renal flow scans (with/without Lasix), MUGA scans
• Complete In-111 WBC studies, GI bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
• Float between Cardiac Clinic and Hospital Nuclear Department
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), TMB and ARRT licenses
• Cardiac and general nuclear medicine experience preferred
• PET experience preferred but not required
• Dress code: Olive green scrub tops with black pants or hospital-issued scrubs
