Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responsible for overall direct distribution staff activity throughout the region.
Set direction to grow customer base and revenue in all segments.
Lead the team to achieve business plan.
Knowledge and utilization of the Company’s resources including Direct distribution sales, marketing, pricing.
Optimize cost and productivity of sales team and execute sales objective.
Foster a highly motivated team environment across the region.
Must understand wireless product knowledge, features, and competitors in the market.
Visit market and retailers on a regular basis for feedback on products and services and maintain a good relationship.
Ensure an open dialogue with team members.
Spot opportunities to enhance the business proactively.
Sales management experience in the wireless industry.
Responsible for Branding throughout the region.
Build and evaluate teams based on their strengths and weaknesses.
Address team performance across the region, ensure quotas and deadlines are being met.
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of profit and loss statement.
Problem solving skills.
Team management skills.
Business Development skills.
Target orientation.
Strategic thinking.
Cross functional knowledge.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Business administration and/or marketing degree a plus.
Sales experience in telecom/retail/direct distribution, FMCG and prepaid wireless experience.
At least 10+ years’ experience in a similarly situated managerial sales role
*Language skills: Spanish is a plus
Must have experience:
MUST HAVE Wireless or prepaid industry OR electronics/accessories (this would be the only other relevant industry other than wireless or prepaid)
Experience in Field Management overseeing a team of field sales reps.
Can be an Area Manager looking to get into a regional role.
Previous accountability for profitability of a Region or Area
Looking for 10-15 years of experience in pre-paid or MVNO
Should be in commutable distance to LA to go to office for team meetings but they will be traveling most of the time.
