Maintenance Mechanic Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing maintenance position.
• High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate or license for trade activities such as HVAC, refrigeration, electric, or welding preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.
• Able to work 3rd Shift 10pm-6am and 6 Day work week

Maintenance Mechanic Preferred Background & Skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Familiarity with PLC systems.
• Previous experience using maintenance management software.
• Fabrication experience is a must.

Maintenance Mechanic Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production, cooling, freezing, and packaging equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and metal detectors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to schedule.
• Conduct general maintenance duties related to plant equipment and building systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to promote productivity and address issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Train other employees as needed and complete assigned housekeeping duties.
