Job Summary: Georgetown Community Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Radiation Therapist to join the oncology care team. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering therapeutic radiation treatments and a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort.

 Specialty: Radiation: Oncology

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation equipment
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper setup for each session
• Monitor patient responses and report any adverse reactions to the medical team
• Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff
• Uphold safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• State licensure in Kentucky (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum of 1-3 year of recent clinical experience
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently during assigned shift
• Required Certifications: Certified Radiation Therapist
