As part of a dedicated and skilled team, the Climber with Crane Trimming Experience will play a vital role in performing technical tree work, including pruning, trimming, and complex removals. Responsibilities
  • Perform technical tree pruning, trimming, and removals using advanced climbing techniques, including Single Rope Technique (SRT).
  • Work from aerial lifts or climb trees using proper climbing systems to access work areas safely.
  • Collaborate with crane operators on crane-assisted removals, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Set up and manage advanced rigging systems for controlled lowering and lifting of tree sections.
  • Follow all company and industry safety protocols, including ANSI A300 standards, and conduct pre-climb assessments.
  • Operate and work around professional-grade equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and bucket trucks.
  • Communicate effectively with ground crew and other team members to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with site setup, traffic control, and post-job cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience in professional tree climbing and pruning.
  • Proficiency in setting up and using rigging systems.
  • Experience working with or operating aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and chippers.
  • Familiarity with crane-assisted tree removals.
  • Knowledge of arboricultural best practices, including ANSI A300 standards.
  • Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform demanding outdoor work.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong commitment to safety.
