HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is partnering with a well-established outpatient mental health clinic in Lake City, Florida, to identify a Clinic Operations Manager who is ready to hit the ground running, modernize systems, and lead the practice through its next phase of growth.

This is a phased leadership role for an experienced operations professional who thrives in high-responsibility environments, can manage both people and systems, and is excited to bring a longstanding community clinic into its next chapter of success.

Phase 1 – Initial Responsibilities (Modernization & Infrastructure)

• Lead the clinic’s transition from paper records to a fully integrated EMR and electronic billing system
• Evaluate and implement workflows to support clean claims, timely reimbursement, and efficient documentation
• Work independently on system transformation, while the current front office team maintains daily operations
• Serve as primary point of contact for EMR vendors, billing partners, and external operational partners
• Identify compliance and documentation standards needed to support long-term growth

Phase 2 – Clinic Management & Growth (Post-Implementation)

• Supervise front office and administrative team
• Collaborate with leadership to hire and onboard future providers and support staff
• Oversee scheduling, billing, administrative, and operational workflows
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor KPIs to ensure financial and operational health
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies across the patient experience and revenue cycle
• Guide the clinic through future scaling, with potential for continued leadership advancement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical office or behavioral health operations
• Proven success implementing EMR and/or billing systems in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle, reimbursement workflows, and denial management
• Confident supervising administrative staff and managing clinic operations
• Highly organized, systems-minded, and able to lead through change
• Strong communication and vendor coordination skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $85,000–$105,000 depending on experience
• Annual bonus: 15% performance-based
• Future profit-sharing potential as the clinic scales
• Relocation assistance: up to $5,000
