Job Duties

• Perform CT procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify patient identification and procedure details prior to scanning.
• Position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Evaluate images for quality, completeness, and proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure records in the RIS/PACS system.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform equipment quality control and report any malfunctions.

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• Minimum one year of recent CT experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently.
• Compliance with hospital onboarding and health requirements, including:
  • COVID-19, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap vaccinations
  • 2-Step PPD or IGRA
  • Physical/Health Statement and Fit Test
  • Background check, drug screen, and competency testing
