Job Duties

• Perform CT and general radiographic procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate CT scanners, X-ray, C-arm, and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively.
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, ensuring accuracy and comfort.
• Perform CT scans of head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist with interventional, biopsy, and drainage procedures as needed.
• Administer studies with and without contrast following protocol and safety guidelines.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, completeness, and correct labeling.
• Document procedures accurately in Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS.
• Maintain sterile technique for surgical and invasive procedures.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Active New Mexico radiologic technologist license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience required.
• Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient imaging.
• Ability to take rotating call as assigned.
