Cypress Cove Care Center, a leading skilled nursing facility in Crystal River, FL, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. We are committed to providing compassionate, individualized care to help residents regain independence and return home safely.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily living and functional skills.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and meal preparation.
• Help patients improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, and cognitive function.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety.
• Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Fabricate splints, slings, and other supportive devices as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, ST, nursing, and social services.
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Previous experience in a subacute rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
