CHI St. Joseph's Park Rapids, MN is recruiting a BE/BC Emergency or Family Medicine Physician to work in the ER.

Position Information:

  • Required BE/BC Physician (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine)
  • Three, 12-Hour Shifts a Week w/ weekend & holiday rotation
  • 144 annual shifts is full time
  • APP supported position
  • EMR- Meditech

  • Starting loan of up to 10% of base compensation

  • is a 25 bed critical access hospital
  • Level 4 Trauma with 24/7 Services
  • 10,000 Annual ER Visits
  • 13 Bed ED with 2 Trauma Bays

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
