We’re seeking a dynamic EMS Adjunct Instructor to teach Anatomy & Physiology (BIO 135, BIO 235, BIO 236) to Paramedic students. This role combines hands-on instruction with curriculum development and student mentorship, helping learners build a strong foundation in human biology as it relates to emergency medical care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Core Anatomy & Physiology Concepts: Deliver instruction on anatomical terminology, homeostasis, cellular biology, tissue function, and all major body systems including skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Include sensory organs, human development, and aging.
- Facilitate Engaging Learning Experiences: Lead classroom and lab sessions that promote active learning, critical thinking, and real-world application for Paramedic students.
- Assess Student Performance: Conduct cognitive and psychomotor evaluations to measure student understanding and skill proficiency.
- Maintain Academic Records: Accurately track attendance, grades, and assessment results in accordance with institutional standards.
- Support Curriculum Excellence: Collaborate with faculty to review and enhance course content, ensuring alignment with EMS training standards and academic rigor.
- Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Uphold institutional policies while creating an inclusive, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for diverse learners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field (required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching Anatomy & Physiology at the college level within the past 5 years (preferred)
