We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Insurance Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance companies. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, and will have a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance companies.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on commercial insurance products and risk management solutions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure they meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve client and company problems with tactfulness and professionalism.
• Participate in business development activities to grow the commercial insurance portfolio.
• Stay current with industry trends and changes to ensure clients receive the most up-to-date and comprehensive service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• 3-5 years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Strong client relations skills; including excellent communication skills and service orientation.
• Cooperative nature and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred, but not required:

• Advanced degree.
• Certification or designation in the insurance industry.
• Experience with Requests for Proposal.
