Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
Experience Level: 2+ years

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join their team in Hoffman Estates, IL. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in accounting and a preference for working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain and manage fixed assets and related accounting
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in general ledger entries
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of remote and in-office work at our Hoffman Estates location.
