Job Title: Picker and Packer (RF Scanner)

Job Summary

The Picker and Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, scanning, and packing products for customer orders using an RF (Radio Frequency) scanner. This role ensures all orders are fulfilled efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Picking

• Use an RF scanner to locate and pick items according to order specifications.
• Verify product information, quantities, and locations displayed on the scanner.
• Follow picking routes and optimize movement within the warehouse.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.

Packing

• Check and confirm that picked items match the order sheet.
• Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipment.
• Label and seal packages following company guidelines.
• Place completed packages in designated staging or shipping areas.

Inventory & Accuracy

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks as required.
• Report discrepancies such as missing, damaged, or inaccurate stock.
• Maintain high accuracy in item scanning and record keeping.

Equipment & Safety

• Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment (if trained).
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience is an advantage.
• Ability to use RF scanners or willingness to learn.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Ability to lift items (typically 15–25 kg or as required by workplace).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of inventory systems (WMS).
