Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural engineering, with a solid background in construction design and a strong aptitude for closing project deals. You will play a pivotal role in both the technical and client-facing aspects of our projects, ensuring that every design meets structural integrity standards while aligning with the client’s vision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop architectural designs from concept through construction documentation.
* Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of designs.
* Visit sites for inspections and carry out a general overview of the project and create quotation
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
* Provide technical input on material selection, structural layout, and sustainable design practices.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, helping close contracts through persuasive design and technical credibility.
* Assist the business development team with feasibility studies and design proposals.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
* Resolve technical issues swiftly and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 + years of proven experience in architectural design and engineering within the construction industry.
* Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong understanding of structural systems, construction methods, and building materials.
* Demonstrated ability to support or lead client negotiations and successfully close deals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and project management abilities.
* Professional licensure or on track to obtain licensure (preferred).
