Job Description
LHH is searching for an accounting professional who is looking for an opportunity at a long-term fit in a payroll department. This temporary to hire Payroll Specialist role in Lynnwood, WA will be working under a supportive manager that is willing to train a motivated candidate on their payroll processes. You need to have at least a year of previous professional accounting, payroll, or HR experience. You will work on a team and have a variety of tasks throughout your day that will keep your role exciting. This position is fully in office at a location with free parking.
Responsibilities:
  • Process employee payroll in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping issues, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and assist with preparing documentation for audits as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience in accounting, payroll, or human resources.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication skills for responding to employee inquiries and collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to learn new payroll processes and adapt to company procedures.
  • Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
