Lab General Supervisor

Must qualify as Technical Consultant for moderate complexity laboratory. TN State Supervisor license required. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to become a Laboratory Supervisor to become a vital part of a new reference laboratory located in Dickson, Tennessee. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in the Core Lab and Toxicology to contribute to a team that values precision, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Laboratory Operations: Supervise daily lab activities, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality test results.

• Complex Testing: Perform and review intricate testing procedures, including antibody identification and compatibility testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

• Mentor & Train: Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff, fostering competency and professional growth.

• Quality Control: Monitor and uphold robust quality control protocols, ensuring the precision of equipment calibration and adherence to procedural accuracy.

• Compliance & Readiness: Participate in laboratory inspections and audits to maintain compliance and ensure readiness for external reviews.

• Collaborative Improvements: Work closely with leadership to identify and implement process enhancements that optimize laboratory operations and testing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field

• Certifications:

  • Tennessee State Supervisor License (required).

  • MT(ASCP) certification required.

• Experience:

  • At least 1 year of high complexity toxicology experience and 2 years of core lab experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage testing procedures and ensure high levels of accuracy and quality.
