About this job

Project Quality Assurance Manager – Beaumont, TX Location: On-site, Beaumont, TX Duration: 12+ months | Long-term iSphere is seeking a Project Quality Assurance Manager for our client’s midstream and terminal operations in Beaumont. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in doing things right — every weld, every inspection, every procedure — and who can bring clarity, consistency, and leadership to complex capital projects. You’ll be the heartbeat of quality for large-scale projects while also lending your expertise to smaller local scopes and maintenance work. If you know how to balance big-picture project quality with boots-on-the-ground attention to detail, this is your kind of challenge. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and oversee all quality management activities across major midstream and terminal projects. Establish and implement the Client Quality Management System (QMS) for new and ongoing projects. Define quality expectations, review specifications, and ensure alignment with corporate standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and contractors to embed quality into every phase of execution. Review and approve RFQs, contract quality language, and project quality plans. Coordinate shop inspections, field quality verifications, and contractor quality control activities. Interface directly with construction, procurement, and operations teams to ensure inspection readiness. Support audits, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate quality performance, findings, and improvements clearly across multiple stakeholders. Mentor and guide quality inspectors, engineers, and contractors in best practices and procedures. What You Bring A deep understanding of quality management systems, standards, and procedures within oil, gas, or petrochemical environments. Proven ability to lead quality efforts on large capital projects from planning through field execution. Experience establishing and managing QMS frameworks, inspection programs, and audit processes. Familiarity with fabrication, welding, electrical, and instrumentation inspection scopes. Strong technical writing and documentation skills — your work stands up to audit-level scrutiny. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence peers and contractors alike. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). Certifications such as CWI, API, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are a strong plus. Why You’ll Love Working with iSphere For over 25 years, iSphere has been the go-to partner for professionals who want to make a tangible impact without sacrificing culture. We believe in straightforward communication, strong partnerships, and helping people do their best work in environments where expertise matters. If you’re ready to set the standard for quality, lead with integrity, and be part of a team that values both precision and people — we want to hear from you.
