About The Position
Unit Information: Special Procedures & IR (727) Location: St Lucie MC Address: 1800 S.E Tiffany Ave, Port St Lucie, FL, 34952 Floor: Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 3 rooms, 1 patient per room Number of Staff 12, consisting of RN S and Techs Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 Charge RN, Director, 3 staff members per room, 12 total per shift o Night Shift On-call team, 2 each call team, 4 total Patient Ratios 1:1 Type of equipment all GE rooms EMR Meditech and MacLab Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS, ACLS, ARRT for Techs Must be competent in Special Procedures & GE Innova & must have recent acute facility IR/Specials experience. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. RCIS for techs List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cardiac Cath, Cerebella angiograms, stents, Balloons, ENT Lab, scrubbing On-call is required of 1-2 weekday shifts and 1 weekend per 4 week period. Best personality Fit: Team player, close knit team, critical thinker, patient care focus, fast paced On-call is frequent, must be flexible and adapt to needs of Unit Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Navy Blue, white, or combination of both nothing else.
