Board certification in Gastroenterology
Missouri license
ACLS, ATLS, BLS

Required Skills
Upper GI endoscopy: biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices
Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy: flexible, rigid
Colonoscopy: biopsy, polyp excision
Liver biopsy
Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion/management

Assignment Details
ERCP and EUS not required for ED or clinic call
Stroke-certified hospital, PEDs Level 2
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 4 RN, 4 MA, 1 APP
