Job Description
Hill Construction is looking for an Interior Designer/Selections Coordinator to join our team. This role involves working with clients who are building new homes, assisting them in choosing finishing materials, and documenting their selections.

This role also supports our Project Managers in preparing orders for these materials. It demands extensive knowledge of building and home finishing materials, along with Interior Design experience. While the position is focused on interior design and selections, our goal is to assist clients in making decisions without overwhelming them with options. The role involves helping clients coordinate their selections within their budgets and documenting these choices to ensure all home finishing decisions are finalized before ground is broken on their new builds.
Our team includes a CAD Designer who creates detailed, full-color 3D home plans. We also have Project Managers, an Estimator, a Salesperson, and an Assistant Project Manager to assist in their duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer selections and processes and set up appointments at various vendors to help clients select materials.
- Must be very organized and document 20-30 different clients' home build selections over the course of an average year.
- Provide customer support through phone and email communication
- Help clients with Interior Design tasks, such as coordinating colors and textures of materials, offering design assistance, offering opinions on what materials/colors work well together, and assuring clients that items will look good!
- Collaborating with PMs when selections arrive to verify accuracy and good condition.
- Helping PMs coordinate location and communication with contractors as necessary for installing selection items.
