Job Description
Caregivers for adults with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) in a residential setting are needed by our client in Northumberland County.
1st and 2nd shifts schedules are available EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK for those willing to commit to an every other weekend rotation.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*Accelerated start with proof of TB/Physical within the past 1 year. We are able to help you with this if you do not have it.
*Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
*Valid Driver's License REQUIRED for this opportunity, however, other opportunities may be available that do not require it.
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent (some college preferred)
* Minimum of one (1) year experience working with persons with mental and developmental disabilities
* Ability to complete and/or produce requested background clearances
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF OPPORTUNITY
* Provide support that will enhance Individuals' quality of life.
* Provide personal care management to individuals with developmental disabilities.
* Must be able to complete daily activity notes
The ideal candidate will have experience as: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Home Care, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Companion, Caregiver, Patient Care Technician (PCT), Direct Care Worker (DCW), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Aide, Healthcare worker (HCW), Health Care Worker, Health Care professional, hospice aide, nurse aide, patient sitter
