What You’ll Do

As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, individualized care to patients while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver direct and individualized patient care using evidence-based nursing practices
  
• Assess, monitor, and document symptoms, changes in patient conditions and progress
  
• Administer medications and treatments to patients safely and effectively
  
• Monitor patients for any reactions or side effects of medications/treatments
  
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to Assess, plan, develop, evaluate and implement patient care plans
  
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and wellness strategies and disease prevention
  
• Respond quickly and confidently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  
• Maintain accurate, detailed and timely medical documentation
  
• Support patients through examinations, treatments, procedures, and recovery 
  

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  
• BSN preferred
  
• Active New Mexico RN license
  
• Current BLS certification
  
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred
