At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Respiratory Care Practitioner to take on a Full-Time assignment at the correctional facility located Stockton, CA.#160;brbrstrongPosition Details:brFull-TimebrLocation: Stockton, CAbrSchedule: Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm-10pm and Sunday, 8:30am-5pmbrRate: $52.50/hrbrStatus: 1099/ Independent ContractorbruMUST BE CERTIFIED/u/strongbrbrstrongJob Description:/strong/ppemUnder the direction of the Institution CEO/CME or designee, the Temporary/Relief Respiratory Care/em/ppemPractitioner shall provide services as permitted within the scope of practice for Respiratory Care/em/ppemPractitioner services in accordance with Institution/Facility policies and procedures. The Respiratory Care/em/ppemPractitioner must be able to work in conditions that require all of the following essential functions:/em/ppema.#160;Perform care consistent with generally accepted evidence based practice;/em/ppemb.#160;Set up equipment and provide instructions for use of equipment for each/em/ppempatient/youth per#160;established policy and procedure;/em/ppemc.#160;Perform complete medical evaluations of patient either during regularly scheduled clinic#160;hours or/em/ppemupon request for consult by either the CEO/CME or designee and make appropriate/em/ppemrecommendations for treatment to the referring physician, CEO/CME or designee;/em/ppemd. Maintain all charting on a daily basis. Any chart remaining delinquent for more than ten (10) days/em/ppemcould result in termination of this Temporary/Relief Respiratory Care Practitioner;/em/ppeme. Aid in the development and updating of policy and procedures related to respiratory therapy;/em/ppemf. Provide periodic assessment of equipment needs and recommendations;/em/ppemg. Submit to Institution#8217;s in-service training, one week in advance of the course, copy of/em/ppeminstructors Curriculum Vitae (CV), course outline, course objective and post-tests;/em/ppemh.
