Job Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide physical therapy services in patients' homes across Fernley, NV, as a traveling Physical Therapist. Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care to restore or maintain patient well being. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and instruct patients and families on safe mobility, equipment use, and home modifications. Document assessments, plans of care, progress notes, and phone orders according to clinical and regulatory requirements. Follow infection control and universal precautions. Travel locally and work flexible schedules as needed.
\n\nMinimum Requirements
\n- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program or equivalent degree required.
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist required. Must be eligible to practice in Nevada.
- Proof of current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance required.
- 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
- Ability to perform physical demands of home health care including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing and walking.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.

Assignment Details

- May be required to float or travel locally to serve a geographic caseload.
