Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Interior Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep and repair of interior components on various Commercial Aircraft Types. The ideal candidate will ensure the interior is in optimal condition, adhering to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Remove, clean, service, and replace various aircraft components using specialized tools and ground support equipment as per supervisor's directives and manuals.
  • Perform seat and armrest recovery, and service emergency equipment according to specifications.
  • Provide training for lower skill levels and maintain tools in serviceable condition.
  • Follow safe maintenance practices, keep work area clean, and document work performed for Training Department records.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and either 1st or 2nd shift as required.
  • Successfully complete necessary courses identified by the Training Department.
  • Undertake any additional assignments delegated by the supervisor.
Job Specifications:
Skills:
  • Proficiency in safety equipment operation, use of drill motor, rivet gun, and removal/reinstallation of various interior components.
  • Familiarity with ATA codes, F.A.R.’s, and company procedures.
  • General knowledge of paperwork procedures including job cards, routine/non-routine cards, service bulletins, and work sign-off procedures.
Job Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification: FAA Airframe & Powerplant License preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months experience in heavy commercial maintenance, specifically C and D checks.
