Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Essential Functions Include but are not limited:

-Provide physical therapy treatments according to the physical therapists' treatment plan.

-Communicate with manager and other health care interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems or plans.

- Record daily treatment notes, portions of monthly progress notes, and discharge summaries timely.

- Maintain patient records confidentially.

- Records treatment charges daily and completes charge tickets in accurate and timely manner.

- Complies with the Florida State Physical Therapy Act.

- Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately yo urgent/emergent situations per protocols.

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.

- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

- CPR certification for Health Care Providers.

- Current Florida State Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
