About the Role:
Join GENTLE HELPERS as a Part Time PCA/CNA and make a difference in the lives of our clients in Wilmington, NC. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide compassionate care and support to those in need while working in a friendly and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Current PCA or CNA certification in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
